3 Things?

3 things in an envelope INTL #16:
Kelli sent the most amazing package! This is so creative and inspiring (and generous!)
I can't wait to get these fabrics in the quilt around the world stash.
The first thing I did after these photos was put these in my stamp binder:
😍 A mushroom themed ephemera pack:
Plus a set of washi samples:
This is way more than 3 things! I love it all!

I'm Just a Gigolo

 Postcrossing from Germany:
Can anyone translate the front for me?!

Patrycja's favorite song is I'm Just a Gigolo by Louis Prima

And her favorite book is Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier - I just read this for Vaginal Fantasy Book Club, and really liked it.

She sent me fabric!!! I'm getting closer to that quilt you guys!

Garden Mustard - I love it!

A lovely handmade postcard from Jaws000 on postcrossing! She also sent me a scrap of fabric for my quilt! YAY!!!

Her quote:

Here's to strong women: May we know them, May we be them, May we raise them.

I love it!

Signature quilt block swap

More fabric for my quilt!

from Use Kayenderes in Canada, who also sent a Halloween ATC

From user Honeybeebzz in Wisconsin, who also sent me some fabric for my quilt!

I can't decide if I should use these signature blocks in my quilt around the world. I think I will.
What else will I put them in?

Fabric

So occasionally on here you've seen scraps of fabric that people have sent. That's because I've asked for scraps to make a quilt, inspired by this one:

It was made from scraps from her friends around the world.

Isn't that awesome?

So that's what I want to do!

Swap-bot Thriftstore Find

Received my package for the Thriftstore Find #30 - USA swap!
It's from Sherry in Pennsylvania!

This is the front of the card
She took this picture last summer.
I love it when there's a note or letter with the swap!
Thanks for the letter!

Fabric for my quilt!!!
Both are vintage cotton.

A blank postcard:
Ornamented column, Archaeological Museums, Istanbul.
Marble, Byzanz, 5th c.

And the actual thriftstore find!
A pitcher and vase, super adorable.
I already put a flower in the vase, and I think the pitcher will be for creamer :)
Sorry for the terrible photo.

She also sent an owl card with envelope, but I plan on actually using that so I'll post it when I send it :)

And she recommends the book Modoc, a true story about a boy and his elephant.

The Fruid

In August I sent a postcard to the Fruid in CA. Today I received a package from her in my post!

Look how cute she decorated the envelope! And such cute stamps!

Her letter set is super cute too; here's the cover:

And she sent me fabric for my quilt! Listed on my snail mail profiles is my wish to create a quilt out of fabric sent from people around the world. I am so grateful for this!
