About Me

Born and raised in Omaha, NE, I spent 5 years after college spreading my wings in Southern California, but moved back home in 2016. I am a lover of new experiences, and that might mean traveling to a new place, learning a new hobby, reading a new book, seeing a new movie, etc. 

I've been an active snail-mailer since 2005 when I joined postcardx, and have been addicted ever since. I'm on sendsomething.net, postcrossing.com, and swap-bot.com.

I love to hear book suggestions or music suggestions, but mostly I love to hear about the people who are writing to me or where they're from.

Favorite Crafts

Papercrafts, especially making postcards, cards, and envelopes.

Crochet and knit! I love vintage patterns and odd-type yarns. I really want to make an amigurumi, but I haven't done that yet.

Sewing clothes and things 

Quilting! I would really love to make a quilt out of fabrics from people all over the world, if you want to send scraps or squares that would be lovely.

Favorite Books

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkein (I actually collect different editions of the hobbit, I have about 8 right now)

Wicked by Gregory Maguire, and his other novels

Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver (a new favorite, which I shall endeavor to read yearly)

My favorite romance author is Stephanie Laurens, especially the Cynster novels.
