Here's what happened:
Saturday:
10AM - 4PM: LA Times' Festival of Books
5-7PM: Verizon Store. Seriously, 2 hours.
7-10PM: Last minute packing for trip
10PM drive 1 hour to LAX for red-eye to OMA
SUNDAY:
12:30AM: wake up at gate, everyone is gone. Panic.
12:35AM: realize that flight was delayed and moved to another gate. Phew.
7AM(central time now):Land in Houston, have 5 minutes to sprint to adjacent terminal before door closes to board.
9AM: Land in Omaha, pick up family from church. Breakfast. Shopping. Prepare for Mary Kay party at my sister's house. Have a blast, drive Momma home, drive to sister's, pass out.
MONDAY:
6AM: wake up, pack the car, drive to pick up Dad.
7AM: COMMENCE ROAD TRIP. From Monday to Thursday, we drove to Niagara Falls, then New York City, then home. We slept on Tuesday. On the way, we stopped at Notre Dame, the most beautiful campus I've ever seen in my life, and at Orange County Choppers. What an adventure that was!
So, along the way, I picked up postcards. Here's what I sent:
Indiana postcard to Victorian in Ohio
Niagara Falls to Angelina in Belarus
Niagara Falls to squirrelinmockow in Lebanon (new!)
Niagara Falls to Saintex in France
Niagara Falls sent to lucky14 in Poland
Can you tell I took pictures of these on the go? :-D
