Karla from Georgia sent me a quilt postcard!!! This is definitely one of my favorites!
I told her I'd send her a photo of my first amigurumi since she encouraged me to try it :)
Her quote was a "Star Quote" cut out from a magazine:
"Love is fascinating. Wishing for it, pining for it and the anger that comes when you lose it. I used to think that I could figure out some pattern to love, like if you don't text a guy back for a half-hour, he'll like you more. But there is no pattern. Absolutely nothing is predictable in love." - Taylor Swift
"From your cousins Isabelle, Sarah, Sam (?), and Margaret" Postmarked April 1911 in Peru Nebraska. On an aside, My paternal great-grandmother's maiden name was White, and she was from Peru. Wouldn't it be neat if I were related to whomever wrote this card? Gives me the chills.
Norwich, NY postcard from Ethel to Miss Lilly in Meriden, Connecticut May 17, 1904? "Dear Lilly, I thought I would send you a Norwich postal. I hope you are well. Love to all, Ethel"
